A quick note for anyone who tried to download the full-resolution group photo over the past few days.
If you pressed the “full resolution” button, waited expectantly, and ended up with a disappointingly small, fuzzy version, you weren’t imagining it, and you weren’t doing anything wrong. Something behind the scenes was quietly shrinking the photo on its way to you. Press the full-res button, receive a decidedly not-full-res photo. Understandably confusing.
It’s now sorted. The button serves the proper original again, all 18 MB and 8455 pixels of it, which is plenty for a good print.
If you already saved the small version, just pop back to the Photo Gallery and download it again. You’ll get the real thing this time (a refresh of the page first won’t hurt). Apologies for the muddle, and happy printing.
